About

Hi, I'm Hannah K. Lee.

Hannah is a palindrome, don't forget the last H. Here are some more:

1. Straw warts
2. As I pee, sir, I see pisa
3. Boob

I'm a Brooklyn-based artist, born to Korean immigrants and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles. After dabbling in Literature for a while, I decided that Art would be more practical. I graduated from Parsons School of Design in 2009 with a degree in Illustration.

I am interested in the relationship between words and images, whatever form that may take. Explorations of this can be found in my zines and on my Tumblr. I am an avid self-publisher.

Copies of my zines Shoes over Bills, Mascots, and Everyone Else is Younger and More Talented have been purchased by the libraries of the Museum of Modern Art (NY), the Brooklyn Museum (NY), the Milwaukee Art Museum (WI), and the SF MoMA (CA).
