Hannah K. Lee came from Korean immigrants who settled in Los Angeles in the 90’s. She now works from Brooklyn as a designer and artist, and occassionally art directs the Op-Ed page at the New York Times

Select zines and prints have been acquired by the libraries of the MoMA, Brooklyn Museum, Milwaukee Art Museum, The SF MoMA, and by The Library of Congress. Much of these works were compiled into Language Barrier, a monograph of personal works and comics, published in 2017 by Koyama Press.
