Hannah K. Lee came from two churchgoing Korean immigrants who settled in the suburbs of Los Angeles. She is a is a multi-disciplinary designer currently based in San Francisco and working in the 9th ring of tech.
In 2017, she published Language Barrier, a monograph of zines, comics, and drawings, with Koyama Press. Her work has been collected by the Libraries of the MoMA, SF MoMA, and the Library of Congress.
